MPM stellt ein neues Projekt vor. Und wie so oft, wenn es um guten Soul und Funk geht dreht sich der Globus ganz weit nach unten. Kiwi Produzent Isaac Aesili und die Sängerin Rachel Fraser riefen diese Gemeinschaft ins Leben.
Aesili ist auf MPM jedoch kein Unbekannter, das Kölner Ausnahme Label veröffentlichte sein düsteres electro Album „Karlmarx“. So entstand die Verbindung, die uns, dem Video und somit dem ersten Eindruck nach zu schließen, viel Freude bereit wird. „Pass It On“ ist die erste Single zum Album „Checkered Thoughts“, das im Frühling 2012 erscheinen soll.

His musical vita includes Opensouls, Solaa (a group he formed in the early 2000s with Electric Wire Hustle mastermind Taay Ninh) and Eru Dangerspiel. Isaac and Rachel first met as members of the Recloose Live band and clicked from start. After collaborating on Isaac’s solo album ‚Eye See‘, they set up Funkommunity, a project that grew into a five piece band.
