Just For The Record #74: DJ C.S.P.

First bought vinyl:

U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer, but that was before I really found my way to Hip Hop.

Favorite vinyl cover:

DJ Magic Mike – Bass Is The Name Of The Game

Without knowing what to expect, I bought this album in 1993 because of the cover and as soon as I heard it I knew I wanted to learn how to scratch.

My first sample:

Oh, I wish I could remember that.

Favorite vinyl store:

Every store has treasures to be found.

Favorite beat:

Wow, that’s really tough. To name a favorite would seem unfair to all the other cool beats out there.

Favorite beat (from yourself):

Mostly it’s the one that’s currently being produced and only until I start the next one. It’s like an addiction that always needs to be satisfied.

Most hated Scratch:

How could I hate what I love the most?

I produce with:

Lots of vinyl, good friends, Logic Pro, MPC Renaissance, natural elements, real instruments, percussions and here and there a few synthesizer plug ins.
