Vic Mensa – U Mad ft. Kanye West (Video)

Am 10. April veröffentlichte Vic Mensa mit „U Mad“ eine echte Granate – und ein außergewöhnlicher Song braucht auch ein nicht alltägliches Setting: So wurde der Song über Jiggas Streamingservice „Tidal“ veröffentlicht und weist – was natürlich noch um einiges krasser ist – ein Feature von Kanye West auf. Wobei Kanye hier wirklich fließig war, denn einerseits schraubte er auch am Beat mit (wie viel er davon wirklich produzierte, wissen aber nur er und die anderen Beteiligten), andererseits steuert er nicht nur einen Part bei, sondern unterstützt Vic Mensa auch bei der Hook. Alles richtig gemacht. „Ooh I don’t need y’all either/Ooh don’t wanna talk about it/Ooh like I don’t, like I don’t know nobody/Like I don’t know nobody/I guess I don’t/Oh you mad, huh?/Oh you mad, huh?/Oh you mad, huh?“ Astreines Brett! humanity is humanity. as far as we’ve come from caves we still retain so many of our intrinsic properties. we love, we deceive, we fight, we hate, we fuck, we change our minds, we protect our own. we want to live forever, we hate getting old. i think though, that in 50 years, when our generation is really in power i think the racial hate will be less. because we’ve grown up loving each other. i have brothers who are white mexican black. and i would die for them.
